The following is a selection of some interesting achievements.


SportingBet.com

Conceived and launched the advertising and media campaigns for SportingBet.com in North America. This is a British based internet betting company, listed and traded on the London Stock Exchange. Within a two-year period North American success drove sales from $250 million to in excess of $650 million. 100% of this increase was attributed to the North American advertising campaigns.


Marketing Awards at Roy Thomson Hall

Produced, conceived and directed the 2000 Marketing Awards at Roy Thomson Hall. The most successful awards ever for Marketing Magazine.


Ontario Hydro

Conceived and launched, negotiated and produced for two consecutive years the multi-million dollar “POWERSMART” partnership-promotional campaign for Ontario Hydro.


Bahamarama™

Conceived and launched the “Bahamarama™” mortgage campaign for National Trust. This campaign had a budgeted sales goal of $300,000,000 in NEW MORTGAGES. This award winning campaign delivered $900,000,000 in “NEW MORTGAGES”. 4,600 passengers were flown on holidays to Nassau in the Bahamas at the Radisson Cable Beach. Over one million dollars of media was purchased with a cash outlay of less than four hundred thousand dollars (contra). This campaign has been said to be one of the most successful advertising/promotional/direct mail campaigns ever in Canada (within the financial institution industry).


TD WATERHOUSE

Launched the brand new TD WATERHOUSE logo “around the globe” event staged from the top of the TD Centre in Toronto, Canada. This event was originally offered to four other event companies none of them able to handle the launch due to its complexity. Within a 48-hour period not only were all plans in place, but a 10,000 square foot banner was ordered, and web casting operations were put in place to reach any and all of the exchange markets around the world. Coverage exceeded all expectations.


TOTAL Toothpaste

Conceived and launched the trade campaign on behalf of Colgate & Palmolive “TOTAL” toothpaste to the trade. Campaign included print creative, video and event production. “TOTAL” launch was labeled as one of the most successful ever for Colgate & Palmolive in Canada.Bank of Nova ScotiaLaunched (event management) of the brand new “Commercial Banking Centers” for the Bank of Nova Scotia.


Odyssey Television Network (OTN)

In 1995 prepared and presented on behalf of Odyssey Television Network of Toronto to the C.R.T.C an application for a CATEGORY 1 (EXCLUSIVE) specialty television channel OTN. This was the first ethnic-unilingual (Greek) specialty television application ever presented to the C.R.T.C. Approval was granted opening the doors for other ethnic applications.

In 1997 prepared and presented on behalf of Odyssey Television Network of Toronto to the C.R.T.C. an application for a CATEGORY 2 (NON EXCLUSIVE) specialty television channel OTN 2. Approval was granted.Between 1995 and 1997 negotiated any and all contracts to list OTN1 and OTN2 all the cable companies and satellite providers across Canada on behalf of the Odyssey Television Network.


VC&B Marketing

In 1991 launched VC&B Marketing soon to become a full size advertising agency with a staff of 35 and capitalized sales in excess of nine million dollars. The agency was eventually sold in 1998.


Calgary Olympics

In 1986 extensively involved with the Calgary Olympics, acting on behalf of Best Foods negotiating on behalf of Skippy Peanut Butter, Mazola Oil and Hellmann’s Mayonnaise to be the “official” products in their respective category.


FEDEX

Conceived for FEDEX the “When you asked us how you can cut courier charges we told you to DROP it” direct mail campaign. Immediate results to this direct mail campaign registered at 37.5% increase in business leveling out to 25%.


Air Transat Holidays

Conceived and launched the campaign introducing Air Transat Holidays to the English speaking markets in Canada. This vertically reproduced horizontal “wide body comfort” ad in the travel section of the Toronto Star was just the beginning of a summer that saw Air Transat propelled to become Canada’s largest holiday maker.


Ontario Human Rights Code

Helped to develop and launch the Ontario Human Rights Code, which was translated and reproduced in 35 languages.
